After the birth I offer daily visits until you feel confident to manage with less frequent visiting. I aim to support yourself, your baby and other family members during this early life changing experience. I am available to answer any questions 24/7. I support breastfeeding, as well as encouraging and discussing baby’s physical and psychological development to support the bonding process. As you increase in confidence I gradually withdraw and discharge you around four weeks post your birth. I send you a full copy of your Independent Midwifery file for you to keep.
